The International Church Of The Foursquare Gospel is seeking a passionate and talented Worship Pastor to join our dynamic team in Sierra Vista, AZ. As a religious organization focused on spreading the message of gospel, we believe in the power of worship to bring people closer to God and create a sense of community and unity among our congregation.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading our worship services, overseeing the worship team, and coordinating all musical aspects of our church's services and events. This includes selecting songs, rehearsing with the team, and ensuring a high quality and spiritually impactful worship experience for all attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide all aspects of worship services
- Select appropriate songs and prepare worship set lists
- Direct and rehearse the worship team, including vocalists and musicians
- Coordinate with pastors and staff to ensure worship aligns with sermon themes and overall church vision
- Cultivate an atmosphere of worship by engaging and involving the congregation
- Source and introduce new worship songs and styles to enhance the worship experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Worship, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience leading worship services, preferably in a church setting
- Excellent vocal and instrumental skills
- Proficient in playing a musical instrument (keyboard, guitar, etc.)
- Strong ability to lead and manage a worship team
- Understanding of different worship styles and ability to blend them harmoniously
- Passionate about leading people into a deeper experience of worship
- Spiritually mature and actively involved in personal spiritual growth
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
