Job Description:
- Assist in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care, including wound care and monitoring of recovery progress.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the supervising physician.
- Assist in minor surgical procedures and suture removals.
- Document patient care in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Valid state license as a Physician Assistant.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Excellent knowledge of medical practices, procedures, and terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a healthcare team.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
