Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Examiner to join our team at Pinal County Medical Examiners. As a Medical Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting autopsies and determining the cause and manner of death in cases where there is suspicion of foul play, accidents, or natural causes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing post-mortem examinations and autopsies to determine cause of death
Collecting and analyzing evidence, medical history, and toxicology reports
Preparing detailed reports of findings and testifying in court, if necessary
Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, forensic experts, and other medical professionals

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board certification in Forensic Pathology
Current valid medical license in the state of Arizona
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical Examiner
