Job Description:
- Assist customers in the selection and purchase of lumber and other building materials
- Provide expert advice and solutions to customers' home improvement needs
- Actively engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction and build long-term relationships
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to efficiently handle and transport materials
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the building materials or construction industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of lumber and other building materials
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment (training will be provided)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
