We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team at Split Ends, a leading beauty salon located in Sierra Vista, AZ. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our customers, helping them achieve their desired look and enhancing their overall confidence.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in various cutting, styling, and coloring techniques. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty through excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with clients to determine their hair care needs and preferences
- Suggesting suitable hairstyles and treatments based on individual client features
- Performing haircuts, blow-drying, and styling hair using appropriate techniques and tools
- Applying hair color, highlights, and lowlights to achieve desired results
- Providing hair treatments, such as deep conditioning and scalp massages
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair care
- Building and maintaining a loyal clientele base
Qualifications:
- Valid cosmetology license
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, preferably in a salon environment
- Proficient in a wide range of hair cutting, styling, and coloring techniques
- Strong knowledge of hair care products and their benefits
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to listen and understand clients' needs and preferences
