J L & S Electrical Construction, a leading electrical Construction company in Marana, AZ, is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems and ensuring their compliance with relevant codes and standards. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and deliver high-quality electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed electrical designs and drawings based on project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to determine design parameters and project objectives.
Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and lighting calculations to ensure accurate and efficient electrical designs.
Prepare and review electrical drawings, including schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the design and implementation of electrical systems.
Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to resolve design-related issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Designer in the construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NEC and NFPA.
Familiarity with lighting design and control systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
