St Lukes Anglican Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Church Pastor. As a Church Pastor, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our congregation, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead worship services and deliver sermons
- Provide pastoral care and counseling to church members
- Coordinate and oversee community outreach programs
- Organize and facilitate bible study groups
- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to plan and execute church events
- Participate in administrative duties, such as maintaining church records and composing newsletters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in theology, divinity, or a related field
- Ordination from an accredited seminary or divinity school
- Pastoral experience in a religious organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Familiarity with Anglican beliefs and traditions
