Metallum Creations, a prestigious art gallery located in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Art Gallery Assistant. As an integral part of our gallery, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the dynamic world of contemporary art.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of art gallery operations, including assisting with the curation and organization of exhibitions, providing exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, and promoting the gallery's artists and their works.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, coordination, and installation of art exhibitions
Conduct research on artists, artworks, and art market trends
Interact with clients, answer inquiries, and provide information about artists and artworks
Assist with the sale of artworks and processing of transactions
Maintain gallery inventory and ensure artworks are appropriately labeled and documented
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote exhibitions and gallery events
Contribute to the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the gallery space

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or related field
Previous experience in an art gallery or museum setting is preferred
Passion for and knowledge of contemporary art
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
